💼 Position: E-commerce Operations & Marketing Coordinator

📍 Location: Mexico or Colombia

⏰Working hours: Full Time - U.S. Mountain Time / Eastern Time

📝 Overview

We are a small and growing e-commerce business that creates and ships curated packages for loved ones to send to residents in senior living communities. We’re looking for an E-commerce Operations & Marketing Coordinator who combines customer support + e-commerce marketing + hands-on execution.

This person will work with a lean team (including a digital marketer and a VA) and must be able to jump in quickly, contribute ideas, and execute with minimal training. The role is ideal for someone with strong ownership who can operate independently while maintaining regular overlap with the team.

🛠 Main Responsibilities

Customer Support & Website Experience

  • Be available to respond when customers reach out through the website and guide them in choosing the right box/package (high-touch support).

  • Provide timely, friendly, and helpful assistance across customer inquiries and order-related questions.

E-commerce Operations (Shopify)

  • Operate confidently inside Shopify to support day-to-day e-commerce workflows (orders, updates, basic site operations as needed).

  • Coordinate “behind-the-scenes” work related to the website and customer experience.

Marketing Execution & Content

  • Own content creation (must-have), supporting ongoing brand presence and marketing initiatives.

  • Support marketing activity primarily across Meta platforms, with some exposure to YouTube as needed.

  • Assist with e-commerce marketing efforts including social media ads and campaign execution (experience a plus).

  • Use Canva (or similar content tools); openness to new tools and better workflows is welcomed.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the existing implementers (digital marketer + VA) to keep tasks moving and ensure initiatives get executed.

  • Bring ideas and help prioritize what matters most—especially given the founder has limited marketing experience and needs a proactive doer.


Requirements

📋Qualifications
  • 4–5 years of experience on E-commerce operations, digital marketing, and/or customer support.

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Shopify (required).

  • Content creation experience (required); comfortable using Canva or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Meta platforms and comfort in the e-commerce marketing world (ads experience is a plus).

  • Able to work independently with strong ownership, while collaborating with a small distributed team.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

  • Must have their own computer/equipment.
