Description

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Accounts Receivable Manager to join a fast-growing, high-performance finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, takes ownership of day-to-day operations, and is comfortable managing teams while ensuring execution and accountability. You will act as the “boots on the ground” for the AR and Collections function, overseeing transactional workflows, driving follow-ups, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks. Key responsibilities include managing and overseeing a team of 5 AR Specialists based in Mexico, running and analyzing weekly aging reports to track outstanding receivables, ensuring timely and consistent follow-ups on past-due accounts, monitoring and managing the AR inbox, handling client communications and escalations, acting as a central coordinator to ensure tasks are properly assigned and executed, reviewing transactional work and making day-to-day decisions, supporting cash flow visibility by tracking collections performance and reporting metrics, preparing reports and extracting data from QuickBooks and Upflow for leadership, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Leadership teams, and pushing back when necessary to maintain accounting integrity and standards.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections Management positions - Prior experience managing or supervising teams (or strong leadership potential) - Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (hands-on, transactional work) - Solid understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, revenue vs bad debt, credit memos) - Experience working with aging reports and collections processes - Excellent client-facing communication skills - Strong ownership mindset with ability to operate independently - Advanced English proficiency (daily communication)
