📑 About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing B2B tech company that is transforming a traditional industry through AI-powered software. Their engineering team is small by design, which means every engineer has a direct impact on the product and the business.

They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their core team.

This is not a "ticket executor" role. You'll collaborate directly with product, design the solution, and own features end-to-end — from the first conversation to production.

🚨What you'll be doing:

• Collaborating directly with product managers to understand what needs to be built and why
• Designing solutions, planning the architecture and breaking delivery into incremental releases
• Building and shipping backend-heavy features using Python, Django and PostgreSQL
• Working on frontend when needed using React and TypeScript
• Using AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily workflow
• Reviewing AI-generated code with an engineering mindset — validating logic, architecture and correctness
• Maintaining and supporting existing systems on AWS infrastructure
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to team practices

🧩 Must Have:

• 4+ years of backend-focused experience
• Strong experience working with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, React or TypeScript
• Proven ability to take features from concept to production
• Experience working directly with product managers and non-technical stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Already using AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as part of daily workflow
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience working remotely with US-based teams

⭐Nice to Have:

• Experience with billing or payment systems (e.g. Stripe)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience building custom AI agents or internal tooling
