Description

Acquisitions Financial Analyst — Deal Execution & Financial Analysis
Remote | Latin America | Full-time
We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing U.S.-based company that is aggressively acquiring small businesses nationwide. They're scaling fast, closing multiple deals every month, and they need someone who can keep up.
This is not a support role. You'll work directly with leadership on live transactions from day one. If you've built models that were actually used to make investment decisions, this is for you.
What you'll do

  • Build and maintain acquisition and financial models from scratch
  • Analyze P&Ls, normalize EBITDA, and identify add-backs
  • Evaluate deal economics, capex needs, and return thresholds (IRR, MOIC)
  • Support due diligence processes and validate financial assumptions
  • Assist with LOIs, deal structuring, and transaction coordination
  • Prepare concise, data-driven materials for leadership and the board
  • Handle multiple live deals at the same time, without dropping the ball

What we're looking for

  • 4–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, M&A Advisory, or Deal-focused FP&A
  • You have built real models used to evaluate real investments, not just theoretical exercises
  • You can read a messy P&L, clean it up, and tell leadership what it actually means
  • Advanced Excel modeling, you'll be tested on this
  • Strong understanding of EBITDA normalization, cash flow modeling, and return metrics
  • Fluent English: you'll present to executive leadership and the board
  • Available to work in or around Pacific Time (PT)

The mindset we need

  • High ownership: you don't wait to be told what to do
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong commercial judgment
  • You figure things out on your own: AI tools are a plus, not a crutch

Why this role is worth it

  • Direct exposure to high-volume acquisitions: 5 to 8 deals closing per month
  • Work on real transactions, not slide decks
  • Direct line to senior leadership from day one
  • Remote, high-autonomy environment with a clear path to grow
