📋 Overview

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our client's financial information is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with US accounting standards. You'll work closely with the Accounting Manager and report directly to the CFO. This position calls for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and eager to grow

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure prompt and accurate processing
• Support new client book setups, including creating financial records from scratch when necessary.
• Maintain and reconcile financial statements.
• Perform payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy in payroll software and Profit and Loss statements
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions
• Prepare and assist in financial reporting
• Analyze discrepancies and provide solutions for reconciling issues
• Liaise with clients and internal team members to address queries promptly

🎓️Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• High comfort level with managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, as this is the most challenging aspect of the role.
• Experience with accrual accounting.

🌟Nice to Haves

• No tolerance for making excuses; a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
• Familiarity with Bill.com, Settle or any Bill to pay software.
• Experience in internal accounting and financial management.
• Familiarity with other accounting software and tools
• Experience reporting to upper management or directly to the CFO
