About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to strengthen our accounting team. This is a high-volume, high-precision role. You will be managing cash and bank reconciliations across 100+ bank accounts, handling intercompany transactions via bulk imports, and supporting fixed assets, inventory, and broader accounting functions.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of accounting experience, solid hands-on NetSuite expertise, and a mindset that leans toward automation and process improvement. This is not a role for someone who is learning the basics — we need someone who can hit the ground running in NetSuite from day one and bring technical depth to every area they touch.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash transactions, daily bank feeds, and reconciliations across 100+ bank accounts in NetSuite.
• Record intercompany and other high-volume transactions using bulk import files.
• Perform month-end close procedures focused on cash, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Record and reconcile fixed asset transactions (additions, disposals, depreciation) and inventory entries.
• Support AR, AP, expense management (Brex), and financial reporting as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements using AI tools and automation.

Must Have

• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• Hands-on NetSuite experience
• Demonstrated experience with high-volume bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge: journal entries, month-end close, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills — you manage complexity without losing accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize under pressure, and adapt in a fast-moving environment.

Highly Desired

• Experience using AI tools or automation agents to streamline accounting processes — this is a meaningful differentiator for us, not just a nice-to-have.
• Comfort working with bulk import files and high transaction volumes without a manual-entry mindset.
• Experience with expense management platforms (Brex or similar)

Nice to Have

• Background in the transportation industry.
• Interest or experience in renewable energy.
