Financial Diligence Associate

Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Diligence Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive financial analyses and preparing quality of earnings reports for potential acquisitions. This role involves working with financial data, utilizing advanced Excel skills, and collaborating with management teams to deliver insightful financial assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and review financial data using Excel, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams and utilize AI tools like Claude AI to enhance data analysis.
  • Conduct interviews with company management to gain insights into financial transactions and vendor relationships.
  • Prepare detailed quality of earnings reports and data books based on financial analyses.
  • Utilize PowerPoint and Word for preparing presentations and documentation.
  • Participate in the evaluation of engineering, construction, and technology companies.
  • Manage ad-hoc financial inquiries and provide insights on data gaps and additional information needed.

  • Minimum of 3 months experience at a Big Four accounting firm. - 1 to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably with exposure to percentage of completion accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
