Position: QA Engineer

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Work Schedule: Hybrid - you'll be going to the office once a week.

From 9 AM to 6 PM (Argentina time)

Position Overview:

We're looking for a QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our client's fast-paced, collaborative team. You'll work with modern tools and frameworks to improve software quality and streamline testing efforts across their CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and exploratory testing

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright or similar frameworks

Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Execute automated and exploratory tests, analyze results, and log defects

Contribute to test planning and QA strategy sessions

Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks

Ensure robust test coverage through collaboration with product and development teams

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in software testing including manual testing

Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and processes

Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases

Proficiency in Python programming

Familiarity with agile development environments

Strong analytical and communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Advanced English level (C1)

Live in Buenos Aires province (to be able to go to the office once a week)

Additional Information

Nice to have:

Experience with Playwright automation framework

ISTQB certification

Experience with JIRA and TestRail

Exposure to API testing and REST services

Understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containers
