📍Location: Latin America (100% Remote)
💰Compensation: USD $8–13/hour (Independent Contractor)
⏱️ Schedule: Full-time, with overlap in U.S. Eastern Time hours; flexible day-to-day

Overview

Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based company with a global and fully remote team. They value work ethic, ownership, flexibility, and precision.

The Accountant & Administrative Support will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing accounting reports, and assisting with administrative and light HR-related processes. This role requires solid QuickBooks proficiency, experience with U.S.-based companies, and strong attention to detail.

You’ll collaborate closely with the finance team in the U.S. and Israel, working full-time and aligning part of your schedule with U.S. Eastern Time hours. The company offers a flexible schedule during the day, allowing autonomy to manage your working hours while meeting deliverables. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain QuickBooks records, including transactions, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.

  • Upload client revenues and match invoices to ensure accurate data tracking.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly reports such as Cash Flow and Profit & Loss.

  • Handle New York sales tax and other state annual reports as required.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards (GAAP).

  • Support administrative and HR-related documentation (NDAs, job offers, contractor agreements).

  • Assist with payroll activities through ADP Total Source or similar systems.

  • Maintain organized and accurate records of accounting and administrative processes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams across time zones to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance for U.S.-based companies.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.

  • Experience preparing P&L and Cash Flow reports.

  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Additional Information

Nice to Have
  • Experience with ADP TotalSource / ADP Run.

  • Knowledge of U.S. sales tax and state reporting.

  • Exposure to HR/recruiting workflows.

  • QuickBooks certification and/or U.S. accounting certificates.

  • Experience supporting operations across multiple states (NY, FL, NJ, PA).

  • Flexible mindset and willingness to pitch in as the company scales.
