💥 Responsibilities:

- Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Accurately code transactions, perform bank and credit card reconciliations, and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Clean-Up & Catch-Up Work: Review and clean up messy books, identify errors, and implement corrections.
- Monthly Close: Perform month-end closings, prepare financial statements, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Self-Review: Be able to check your own work and catch errors. Have good work habits and good processes so that work is not missed.
- Client Communication: Provide friendly and professional service to clients, responding promptly to questions and requests.
- Follow-Up Management: Maintain clear communication with clients regarding outstanding items, know when to follow up based on each client’s preferences
- Error Detection: Analyze financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
- Accounting Tools & Automation: Use and learn accounting automation tools to streamline processes.
- Ecommerce & Inventory Accounting: Handle accounting for ecommerce clients, including inventory and COGS management.

💥Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably with an outsourced accounting firm or multiple clients.
- 2 years of Quickbooks Online
- Strong ability to identify errors, reconcile accounts, and clean up books.
- Client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies for accounting automation.
- Strong verbal and written English skills with clear pronunciation, suitable for presenting and engaging clients.


🌟Nice to have :

- Experience with accounting tools like Gusto, Bill.com, Ramp, or Inventory software
- Background in working with startups or fast-paced, high-growth businesses.
- Understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP principles.
