Description
Our growing accounting firm is seeking a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience and proficiency in QuickBooks, with a keen eye for detail and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations within our organization. The candidate will support our team by managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and assisting with financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Efficiently process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Track and monitor budgets and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and address financial inquiries.
- Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and completeness.
- Provide support in specific financial projects related to our clients, primarily in the law and construction sectors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial best practices.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial operations.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with law firms.
