💥 Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting, Bookkeeping & General Ledger Management:

- Own the month-end and year-end close processes for assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements with meticulous supporting documentation.
- Execute day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and precise categorization.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, guaranteeing accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure client books are consistently audit-ready.

Financial Analysis & Reporting Support:

- Develop budgets, forecasts, and foundational financial models to support strategic client decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive variance analyses and provide actionable insights into financial performance.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.

Client Advisory & Process Optimization:

- Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships.
- Deliver proactive and insightful advice to business leaders, anticipating their needs.
- Identify and address workflow inefficiencies, implementing practical improvements for enhanced efficiency.

Tools, Technology & Data Fluency:

- Navigate and extract data from various accounting and business platforms (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Gusto, Stripe, etc.).
- Utilize advanced spreadsheet functions (SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, ARRAYFORMULA, etc.) to create robust and functional reporting tools.
- Design informative dashboards and visualizations to simplify financial data comprehension.
- Suggest and implement automation solutions using tools like Zapier, Layer, or AI-powered platforms.
Contribute to systems optimization by streamlining processes and enhancing financial visibility.
- Comfortably work with large datasets and organize them effectively.
- Analyze email marketing metrics from a financial perspective.

Compliance & Best Practices:

- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and stay abreast of evolving financial regulations.
- Support clients through audits, funding rounds, and due diligence processes.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation and standard operating procedures.

⚙️ Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive Public accounting experience, ideally in a technical setting.
- Proven proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and present professional financial reports.
- Experience in financial analysis of email marketing data.
- Public accounting experience.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (especially formulas and data manipulation).
- Strong appetite for learning new software and adapting quickly.
- Proactive, strong problem-solving abilities, and a sense of initiative.
- Previous support to a Fractional CFO.
